I am SO grateful that this apartment inferno did not claim the lives of any of my friends who lived in this building. Unfortunately they lost all their earthly belongings - including documentary footage that my very good friend Greg had worked on for years. Ugh! Stuff can always be replaced though.
Trust Greg to be a rockstar even at a time like this. I connected him with my assignment editor and we featured him in all the coverage we did on NBC. Greggers turned out to the interview to get even in the middle of tragedy and loss. The Philadelphia Inquirer (probably after I connected him to Claudia) snagged him and also wrote their story around him.
His roomies Ross and John were at work when it all happened... Love all of them!
